@jamesm2022 I can, maybe not as we know it but it would certainly exist as a good 70% of what we know. Other than like the first half’s of the first half and third of the first and last OT films respectively, that’s where the Dune “inspiration” largely ends.

These replies are truly insane. Yes, Star Wars took ELEMENTS from Dune, just as Dune did from Lawrence of Arabia. Star Wars was also inspired by Arthurian Legend, Kurosawa Samurai films and Flash Gordon. Art doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Star Wars would still exist if Dune didn’t.

I'll admit when it launched I didn't like FFXII but couple of years passed and I came back to it fully understanding it's genius. Not it's story or characters but it's gameplay is top tier. It took me liking Dragon Age 1 and Xenoblade 1 to come back to FFXII

In high school my mom got me a Sony Watchman. I must have gotten a "B" in a class. I cut a big hole in my Algebra book and put the Watchman inside. The book had never been used. My neighbors in class leaning in. The final three periods of the day, CBS on a two-inch screen. Georgetown vs Lehigh! It was glorious at the time.
