People within NXT reportedly feel that this past week's show was "terrible." "You realise that like this NXT show on Tuesday was so ungodly terrible. It was just a horrifically booked show.... You had all these fans, ‘It’s better than Collision will ever be. It’s actually a great show.’ Meanwhile, you actually hear from people in NXT that are like, ‘Yeah, that show’s just terrible. It was just terrible.’" (Source: Wrestling Observer Live)

Maven Huffman said WWE is "on the wrong track" in a new YouTube video, pointing to the reduction of house shows as the root cause of declining match quality. He cited CM Punk vs. Jey Uso on Saturday Night's Main Event: "Two guys at the top of their games, and they put a match out that both guys probably wasn't happy with. They looked sluggish. Their timing was off. They lacked any aggression, and they looked like they were still in the feeling out process." "When you work somebody three, maybe four times in one week, you get to figure out what works, what doesn't work. And you're not feeling this out on television." Maven also said every WWE match now "looks like a dance" and cited advice from Test: "If you mess up a spot, don't go back for it. All that is, is telling your audience, 'Hey, I messed up, but I'm going to fix it right now.'" On the cost of being a fan: "There's no reason people should have to spend 50, 60, $100 a month strictly to professional wrestling. You're going to lose fans." On Raw's ad breaks: "Every time I could get into something, I was getting sold DoorDash." #Maven #WWE #CodyRhodes #CMPunk #WrestlingNews

Is “He/Them” Speedball Mike Bailey currently the most forced AEW wrestler?

I’m telling you. Every time I get critical about AEW I get the snarkiest responses. When I’m critical about WWE it happens a lot less.

"Billy Gunn on his best day isn't half the wrestler Kyle Fletcher is today. Kyle Fletcher legitimately might be top 5-7 in the world? Think Billy Gunn was ever top 200?" - Dave Meltzer youtu.be/0sZwQy-lmJc?si…

WWE is for real wrestling fans & casual fans who like live action sports fans AEW is for indy wrestling fans Why cant we just agree on this?!

It’s not 1986 anymore, the piledriver doesn’t need to be a protected move. #AEWDynamite

Kyle Fletcher on AEW All In Texas 2025: “It was one of the worst days of my whole life” nodq.com/news/kyle-flet…

the “moves vs storytelling” debate never fails to make me want to bash my head against the wall. the moves ARE the story. if wrestling matches were books, the moves would be the words.
