it’s understanding when learning is actually breaking down

Students already use AI daily But complexity, confusion, hesitation, and disengagement still exist underneath of generating the answers from AI weather wrong or right Maybe the future of AI in education is not just giving responses faster

Today we had a conversation with a student studying Human Kinetics One thing stood out immediately: AI is normal for assignments now but some subjects are still naturally complex That sentence stayed with us

Week 13 drops today This week wasn’t about pretending everything is perfect It was about continuing the research, improving the thinking, and understanding where learning actually breaks down for students Just progress New Article dropping soon

Weekend reminder while building: Not every breakthrough week looks exciting from the outside Some weeks are: - observing behavior, - refining ideas, - fixing direction, - rewriting assumptions, - and continuing quietly when nobody is watching And always showing up

A student saying “I understand” doesn’t always mean they actually do Sometimes confusion hides behind silence, short answers, hesitation, or students trying to move on quickly That invisible gap in learning is becoming one of the most important things we’re exploring

Building BAINT is slowly teaching us that learning failure doesn’t always look obvious Sometimes it looks like: - hesitation, - reworded questions, - silence, - or students pretending they understood just to move on Those are the moments we’re becoming most interested in
