A Stowmarket resident showed me photographs spanning 50 years - from a clear, navigable river full of fish to one now choked with debris and neglect. Our rivers deserve better. We must reverse the damage and clean up our waterways.

I’m watching Dirty Business on @Channel4 and raging at the water companies who dump raw sewage into our rivers and waterways and pay their CEOs huge bonuses. In other news, @SouthernWater have just increased my water bill to over £500 - and continue to dump sewage into the sea.
