Full video. Her name is Jennifer Koonings. She's a "psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner" but was fired for her atrocious behavior, including atrocity denial on October 7.

@BradRTorgersen Grunge was the last gasp before what Rick Beato calls the “gridification of music:” the placing on a grid of pitch with Autotune and meter with Beat Detective. I think Eddie Vedder is a lousy vocalist, but at least his singing is for real.

I adore DEPECHE MODE from '83 thru '90, but it became a project in diminishing returns after Violator. Grunge swept the decks clean, and was so needed. Especially when it came to restoring true musicianship, versus productions. Now in 2026 almost everything is production, and there's barely any musicianship on the charts. So depressing. Grunge was the last of the great bands eras.

They had occasionally good songs, but there is a reason the instant Grunge hit the airwaves hair metal literally ceased as a force in pop music. Overnight, Grunge put hair metal in its grave. Because it went harder emotionally, and the Grunge guys could play. After the synthpop and hair metal that dominated much of the 1980s, Grunge was a breath of fresh air.

@RobProvince Grunge was musically superior to hair metal. Grunge also has a stronger family tree pedigree to the good stuff of the sixties and seventies. There's more of Led Zeppelin in Soundgarden or Alice in Chains than there is in Poison, Ratt, or Mötley Crüe.

Quick reminder to the atheists posting what they think is a dunk, that Jesus didn't have blonde hair and blue eyes: literally no one believes He did, least of all Bible believing Christians. Again, I'm begging you folks to go outside and meet some actual Christians.

@StatisticUrban It’s insane to me that the rest of the world has so little to offer that they fixate on using the metric system as their single defining characteristic.

It's insane to me that most Americans can't even comprehend metric units and Celsius without converting. I understand it's not the system used, but it IS the international system, used in all scientific fields and ~every other country. Useful to at least instill the basics.

@OrdnancePackard @elbh Thanks. The people with the loudest opinions of California are the ones that know the least, and I’m tired of trying to explain it to them. They seem to hate the conservatives who are here fighting as much as they hate the libs, and it’s mind-boggling.

For my Japanese friends. I'm seeing quite a bit of California hate and I think I need to explain what has happened to the state in a way you may understand. Imagine if Tokyo and a large rural prefecture were in the same political prefecture and generally voted conservative. Then the political climate in the city became hostile to defense, heavy industry, aerospace and older business sectors, so those businesses and their employees move to more friendly prefectures. What you have left is a very left leaning city that still out votes the rural residents who still hold their conservative sensibilities. I hope I explained this correctly and in proper terms. California is only recently like this (20 years), before then we won the Cold War and put a computer in everyone's lap. We're trying to fight back, it's just really hard and we get little help from our friends elsewhere.

@AzPetrich If they had said a word about it, you’d be “a nephew of a US veteran” stroking out in rage about the compromise to opsec. If you know what that even is.
