editor here! yup what @sambbury said. our small vfx team did some heroic work on a very, very aggressive schedule on S2/3. in addition to the relighting and compositing work the three vfx artists did, I retimed and recomposed hundreds of shots for pacing, narrative, action, and drama. we also had a vfx editor who fixed lip sync on a tremendous amount of shots. all this is in addition to the large teams of animators that worked at our 3 Korean animation studios.

Hi, I was one of the four people. Of course we all wanted the show to look as polished as possible. There just wasn't enough time or manpower. Best I could do is add some lighting/shadow work to 1-2 sequences per episode since they're 40-55 minutes. We did our best 🫰
