For the people who use heartrate monitors for STREAM: Is using a heartrate monitors parasocial-baiting? I was thinking about getting one because I mainly stream horror nowadays, and I thought it would be funny/interactive for my chat to see my heartrate go higher whenever I get scared. I asked one of my non-streamer friends, and they said it was weird/chat seeing that feels intrusive and borderline parasocial. That was what got me wondering if it was bad or looked down upon in streams? I saw a lot of people bigger streamers doing it, so I assumed it was normalized but maybe not?;; What do you think?

@Toki_Doroki for me, vtubing is a meaningful way to express myself without having to be on camera constantly, I do not hide my face on purpose and even do cosplay streams when i feel like it sometimes as I feel that my model is just an extension of myself!

Just curious... Isn't the whole point of being a Vtuber is to remain anonymous behind a virtual avatar? Just seen a reoccurring trend where it's Vtuber vs IRL, so it got me curious. Does it not break the whole immersion thang? What are yalls opinion? (｡· v ·｡) ? 💜
