My cat Leo loved flowers. He used to stand among them quietly, as if searching for a moment of peace in a place that no longer knows peace. He knew nothing about politics or wars— he only knew hunger… and waiting. Leo died from hunger in Gaza. He died because cruelty became stronger than mercy, and because even creatures that harm no one were given their share of death. These photos are not just memories of a beautiful cat; they are a testimony to a world that failed to protect its weakest souls. Rest in peace, Leo, among the flowers you loved, far from hunger… and far from war.
