My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

@Pranit I noticed it a while ago. Dropped the subscription for now. Moved to codex, just for the sake of more room to actually do things. Limits are more generous there for sure.. I really love claude code but the limits are just not worth it.

Anthropic just pulled the oldest trick in SaaS pricing. I pay $200/mo for Claude Max. My limits have been noticeably worse this past week. Now they announce 2x off-peak usage for two weeks. Sounds generous. But here’s what actually happens: limits quietly drop, a temporary 2x makes the reduced limit feel normal, the promo ends, and you’re left at a baseline lower than where you started. You just didn’t notice the downgrade because the 2x absorbed the transition. These AI plans are massively subsidized. The raw compute behind a heavy user costs multiples of the subscription price. Every move like this is the subsidy quietly correcting. Very sneaky, Anthropic.

I just checked gpt's codex. It's really good. I grow tired of limited usages of claude every time new model comes out. Time to look for the alternative I guess.

Claude was such a loved brand two months ago. The single best move Anthropic can make now is to update this TOS and announce that they are cool with OAuth on 3rd-party tools. >This will bring great PR to Claude >User won't be scared of getting banned >Everyone will be positive about the brand People will love Claude again. Before all these OAuth bans, and using legal in a way too protective way, everyone supported Claude in such measures that I've never seen a brand get so much love after Apple. Anthropic can really rethink its strategies and turn the ship around. It's not too late @bcherny. You gotta win the devs and people who want to use AI in a transformative way: closing stuff like this makes people not wanna build an ecosystem on Claude.

Does anyone have successfully tested their own payment flow locally via ngrok and webhooks? My dodo checkout page is getting infinite refresh page after i type in billing address and continue to payment. Because of this i dont know if i screwed something or its not my bug..
