4. It wasn’t an awful movie but it completely abandoned a plot it had spent 6 seasons building. It focused too much on a character (tommy’s son Duke) that we don’t really care about / aren’t emotionally attached to because he wasn’t even introduced, or mentioned to exist, to peaky blinders fans until the final season. I understand they needed tommy to die at the end of the story, but i would have rather seen that happen by taking down a villain like Oswald Mosely who the show spent a lot of time and effort building a storyline against, instead of just leaving that open ended and giving us a movie that felt like it wasn’t related to the show i watched for 6 seasons. Didn’t like how it ended for arthur, left finn’s revenge story sort of untold, got rid of Ada in a way that felt kind of rushed and lazy, abandoned the whole mosley plot line, etc… just didn’t feel right.
