The #A64 is blocked westbound between the #A166/A1079 #Dunnington and the #A19 #Fulford near #York due to a collision There is currently about 2 miles of stationary traffic approaching the block

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mark Purslow following an incident in this evening’s qualifying session. All our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones.

@yarders101 @yorkpress I drove past, obviously hadn't happened long before I got there (minutes) but I didn't see the crash happen. There were already numerous vehicles stopped and assisting, and I could see emergency vehicles on the way. Nothing I could achieve by stopping as well.
