Just funny to me that the Astros could lead the division in two weeks if they went on an insane winning streak.

@michaelschwab13 Not giving up on the season yet, but the pitching has to stabilize somehow. I still think we have a good offense.

We talk about it on the podcast posting tomorrow but I’m not giving up on the season. The only thing keeping the Astros in this is a horrid division.

You can’t just say “let’s get everyone healthy” and hope for the best. If Jim Crane said publicly that he didn’t care about the CBT, then do your best to sign solid free agents. It doesn’t have to be 6 year situations. I bet Framber could have stayed.

@michaelschwab13 Agreed…the plan appears to have been just try to catch lightning in a bottle from someone. And now Joe is just throwing everything out there to see if it sticks.

It’s becoming more evident that Dana Brown and the front office had no idea or plan before this season. The pitching roster has been a disaster

@michaelschwab13 I’ll keep watching for about 6 more weeks, but if this continues I may just start looking at box scores in the morning. Love the team, but pitching plan feels horrendous right now. I know the injuries are part of it, but this is painful to watch. Thank goodness the West sucks

@russellybarra @MichaelBerrySho These places provide a great experience all-around…from the greet and seat, to offerings and quality. They keep striving to be better (by working at it).

Independent, multi-unit casual dining restaurant chains that execute at a high professional standard will be the ones that survive longterm in an overly crowded marketplace. i.e. Pappas, Goode Co., Federal American Grill, Hillstone, H-Town Restaurant Group, etc.

Airport questions… 1. Why would anyone make the decision to take Pappadeaux out of an airport? 2. Are there enough grown folks with $$ collecting Pokémon cards to justify a large vending machine in the airport? 3. Why would a female wear a sports bra with nothing over it in the airport? 4. Why do people put bags or food in seats next to them in crowded waiting areas? 5. Why would a person exhale aggressively into heavy foot traffic? 6. Why have self pay stations with zero room for people to line up or access? 7. Why do people stop to rest in the middle of high traffic areas? Just curious!!

@SeanTPendergast Saw this yesterday and really like this break down. We watched Paredes work so many pitch counts last year. Love getting him plate appearances and rest for the other “old” guys.

If Paredes is sticking around, the team is going to have to loosen up on their desire for Yordan to almost exclusively DH. If they’re going to put their best foot forward offensively, Yordan has to play LF at least as many games as Josh has here
