When I first started posting on X there was a particular declarative post that generated more passionate outrage and debate than anything else I had ever posted. I'm going to post it again now. Ready? The best fast food item in the USA is the McDonald's Filet-o-Fish sandwich. Come at me bro.

Food for thought. In The Prince, Machiavelli teaches that a ruler’s first duty is to secure the state, even if that means speaking and acting in ways that shock polite society. He warns that “men in general judge more from appearances than from reality,” and that a successful prince must be judged on the effects of his words, not on whether they conform to genteel norms. Trump’s recent language toward the Iranian regime is not a lapse of self‑control; it is a calculated act of deterrence aimed squarely at the leaders of a state‑sponsored terrorist apparatus. He is negotiating through intimidation, signalling resolve, ruthlessness, and a willingness either to send Iran “back to the Stone Ages” or to ensure that “a whole civilization will die tonight” in terms that pierce the bubble of diplomatic euphemism and force the IRGC command to reassess its risk tolerance. In that sense, Trump is acting far closer to Machiavelli’s prince than to a modern liberal statesman: he is willing to appear vulgar, even “unhinged,” if doing so strengthens the fear of his threats in the minds of his adversaries. What is striking is not that a leader dealing with such a regime would use this language, but that so many in the West seem genuinely unable, or unwilling, to recognize the strategy. They clutch their pearls about tone while ignoring the basic logic of coercive diplomacy: when you want to stop a hostile regime and its terrorist proxies from further escalation, you must shape their expectations, not placate your own commentariat. Machiavelli’s blunt counsel is that a prince must sometimes speak as both “man and beast,” combining law with the language of force to protect his people. One is left wondering whether our political and media classes have forgotten the oldest lessons of statecraft. Has no one read The Prince?

I studied Islam at Columbia University because I needed to understand what it says in the Quran that forced my family to flee Iran under gunfire after the Islamic revolution. I’ve read the Quran. I know what it says to do to Jews. And no one can deny it to me because I studied it. And here’s the truth: Sharia Law is not compatible with the West.

DID YOU KNOW? Under Colorado’s Democrat State Legislature: CRIME – COLORADO IS: (sources on next page) #1 in car theft #2 most dangerous state in the country #4 in rape #4 in property crime #8 highest violent crime rate #10 highest rate of human trafficking Over 70% of child rapists get only probation. A bill initiated by GOP Rep. Brandy Bradley that would mandate jail time for child rapists was killed by Democrats (Weissman, Wallace, Benavides, Henriksen) three years in a row. Under current law, you can rape up to 3 children and still get probation, making Colorado the most pedophile friendly state in the country. TAXPAYERS – COLORADO IS: -The state has a 1.5 billion dollar deficit due to Democrat overspending. Medicaid is the state’s #1 budget item (16Billion); as a sanctuary state, we are paying millions for Medicaid for illegal immigrants, while the state is taking away benefits from citizens. -You are paying for transgender procedures and abortions for minors (legal up till the day of birth) (HB25-1309), (SB25-183) -Democrats are trying to eliminate TABOR (SB26-135) -AG Phil Weiser has filed 62 taxpayer funded lawsuits against the Trump Administration, the latest in the works would preserve mass mail-in voting (making elections less secure). EDUCATION – IN COLORADO: -60% of 3rd graders can’t read at grade level -In 2026 there are 10,000 fewer students enrolled in Colorado public schools, due to an exodus of families because the state is unaffordable, along with a rise in private schools, online and home schooling due to indoctrination, rather than education. -While there’s an executive order prohibiting boys in girls’ sports, Democrats killed a recent bill to enforce it (there are 61biological boys playing in girls’ sports in Jefferson County alone). PARENTAL RIGHTS – IN COLORADO -From age 12, your children get medical and mental healthcare privacy (no parent knowledge or consent), so that you don’t get to see their records unless they give you permission. (HB19-1120) -Parents have no rights re: children’s gender dysphoria, and a child can be taken from parents (due to “coercive control”) if their gender confusion is not confirmed. (HB25-1312) -Democrats continue to attack parental rights in the state. SEXUALITY -Abortion is legal, up till the day of birth. -A group of Democrat Representatives recently initiated a bill that would decriminalize prostitution and make it impossible for a jurisdiction to opt out. FREEDOM -Colorado fell from 2nd freest state in 2014 to 19th by 2022 (Freedominthe50states.org) -The Supreme Court just overturned one of our most heinous laws: that therapists can only affirm a child’s sexual confusion and not talk about options (it violated the First Amendment). -The Supreme Court has ruled against Colorado’s treatment of Christians four times (so far) on the grounds of free speech. -In order for lawyers in Colorado to log into its court e-filing system, they must promise not to cooperate with federal authorities in enforcing federal immigration law. (SB25-276) -Changed Colorado Antidiscrimination Act (CADA) to add penalties for “misgendering.” Businesses, face $5000 statutory fine + $50,000 non-economic damages (HB25-1239) Sources courtesy of @schotts on X:

@thepantry_gr I’m am absolutely shocked and angered that you have such an awful and evil woman working for your company. She is hoping that the Iranians catch the American soldier and hold him hostage? What type of delusional women do you employ? Fire her immediately and distance your business from her.

Coming to believe ~90% of the political differences among Christians boil down to a failure to distinguish between the Biblical roles of the individual, the church, and the State. No, God did not command governments to forcibly redistribute wealth. Yes, God commanded Christians as individuals to practice charity. Individual Christians in Acts “gave willingly and not under compulsion.” Christians in Acts did not vote for the Emperor to increase the marginal tax rate and call that “generosity.”

Good Morning, Let’s pause for a daily scripture break. I Corinthians 10:13, “ No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” Sometimes, as I’m reading other posts or comments to my posts I sense people are tired of resisting the relentless onslaught and pervasiveness of demonic activity in our culture. It sometimes feels like we are overwhelmed and surrounded by evil. I’ve found this particularly true since COVID. There's a palpable decline in the civility and cordiality of the American public.  People act as if they can just dump their ill ire in your lap and the receiving person just had to take it. Have you observed businesses posting reminders to customers poor behavior towards the business’ staff will not be tolerated? I’ve also unfortunately noted a marked uptick in narcissistic behavior in people - people are rude, abusive, entitled, and dismissive of the consequences of their objectionable behavior. When I'm frustrated with being on the receiving end of poor behavior by others and I’m tempted to return the favor, and I often struggle with it - but I try to remind myself of this verse, I Cor 10:13. Please read the verse again. What is this verse telling us? First, I’m not the only person experiencing unjustified abusive behavior by others - it is “common to mankind”. On some conscious level, when you remind yourself this is simply a common occurrence then mentally you can compartmentalize the frustration which is paramount in maintaining your inner peace. Secondly, the next phrase of the scripture gives us hope by outlining how we can rely on God to help us through situations such as these.  God is “faithful", He won’t allow us to "be tempted beyond our breaking point", and He will also "provide an avenue of escape" from the traps Satan sets in our lives so we can “endure it”.  This verse is much more than a pacifying verse to quiet us and allow others to behave poorly. Some may question, why do we as Christians have to “endure” these temptations? I Peter 1:7 reveals the answer - it says,” these trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold - though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world." I Cor 10:13 prompts us to reinforce some of the topics we’ve reviewed in past posts such as relying on your inner circle for strength when circumstances become so toxic you want to throw in the towel; allow the Holy Spirit to “bring appropriate biblical verses to your remembrance” (John 14: 26). When I am feeling emotionally down about difficult challenges in my life, I know that’s a sign I need refueling. Renew your mind in the scriptures daily (Romans 12:2), put on the full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-17), daily prayer and reflection with the Lord (Mark 1:5) are powerful tools to sustain us. All of us know, the attacks won’t stop until we leave this planet. Avail yourself and cultivate the fruits of the Holy Spirit which arm you to successfully navigate the trials of life. (Gal 5:22-23,  Eph 6:16, James 4:7, John 16:33) God will never abandon us. Rest in His love. Peace and be prepared.
