@gunrights If you gave a colonist access to an AR platform and ammo, they would rule their area. As though they wielded Excalibur itself.

Fun fact: This piece was created by an anti-gun artist. In an attempt to mock the 2A, they just made guns look cool. A common issue they have.

U.S. civilians owning firearms similar, or even identical, to those used by the military is not an oversight of the 2nd Amendment. Civilian access to combat-capable rifles is exactly what an armed citizenry was always supposed to look like.

Correct. It’s not about the $5 coffee. It’s about the fact that the government keeps adding more regulations and zoning requirements, which increases the cost of building new homes. They do this because the largest voting demographic (baby boomers), who already own homes, benefit when home values continue rising year after year. We have real-life examples. Austin, Texas, eased permitting and some restrictions, built a significant amount of new housing, and has seen lower rents and housing costs as a result. The government is intentionally creating this problem by limiting supply, thus artificially inflating costs to pander to the largest voting demographic.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

CEOs of the largest companies in America make 281 times what the typical worker makes. Since 1978, pay for these CEOs has skyrocketed 1,094%. Typical worker pay? 26%. So no, your $5 coffee isn’t why you can’t afford rent.

December 2025: Jack Smith swore under oath that he didn't spy on text messages belonging to members of Congress. Today: New evidence confirms he spied on dozens of members of Congress, myself included. This is a blatant abuse of power, and exactly what our Founders warned about.

@Fat_Electrician Upsides and downsides to any job. I've done both... I do both. And, I know that my fat ass would suffer without the physical job.

I went from a blue-collar job where I was moving all day to a job where I sat inside all day. The result? I gained 30–40 lbs and developed more aches and pains from sitting than I ever did from manual labor. I’m not saying sitting at a desk is harder. It’s not. I’m saying we underestimate how harmful a completely sedentary lifestyle is. Your body can handle hard work, it struggles with doing nothing.
Contrarian Saver@ContrarianSaver

I’m not saying “no one should go into the trades” - just that the media (especially social media) underplays the downsides: - takes a physical toll on your body; work life is limited - virtually no upside unless you start your own business - job gets harder as you age; white collar jobs get easier and better compensated with experience You can be a plumber if you want just please - don’t fall for the hype

The International Criminal Court seeks to become the unaccountable arbiter of a new global law — empowered to prosecute and arrest our citizens at will and existentially threaten American sovereignty. We will teach the ICC the full meaning of American resolve.

@The_King_Trout I got up one morning to find my cat in my shower. Biting the back of an obviously crippled mouse. While kicking the crap out of it and purring. My dog only knows love. My cat loves blood.

Just watched my cat rip each of the legs off of a cricket and roll around its limbless body while it actively struggled. I let this fucking psychopath sleep in my bed.

@RandyRRQuaid We don't need to know our newscasters have opinions. The job is to deliver facts. Their opinions on anything should be left out. Because, people just need information TO think about. Not to be told WHAT to think.
