I went yesterday through Discord servers, 30+ of them, pretty much all dead, ghost towns. Here and there, a few people talk about the good old days and wonder if devs are doing anything, but generally, it's a very depressing environment. Meanwhile, the Thorchain server keeps beaming with life. That's resilience, that's determination to make it work, regardless of past mistakes, lack of general support, and idiotic attacks. They never stopped building, shipping, and believing.

I literally didn't look at my crypto portfolio for more than a year. Canceled all notifications and ignored pretty much all the news. I guess I was coping. If somebody gave me a single-button option to move everything into cash, without any tax and paperwork that follows, I would probably do it. It would have been a classic crypto capitulation. But yesterday I decided to believe in something again, so I will consolidate my portfolio, cut many losses, and double my bet on $RUNE and $RUJI (Plus a few major L1s). Not because I have some special insights or intuition, but because I still want to believe in the cypherpunk version of crypto, not the polished, banker version that we are witnessing lately. Maybe this is still a coping process, but to be honest, I don't care. I have a real-life business that sustains me, so I will be fine, but I hate the feeling that we just gave up on an idea that money should be decentralized and immutable. Scammers and hackers are not the problem; they are symptoms of a fragile system, so the only solution is to make those systems stronger. I still find that process of figuring it out fun, even if it's risky as hell for those who put money into such systems. So, as usual, NFA.

I see and feel the same thing you feel. As for THORFi mourning, same with grief and honoring any loss, there is a timeframe where it’s healthy and after that emerges a time where it becomes unhealthy to the point of parasitic. Just two days ago I saw it referenced and in reading that it dawned on me that I feel not long ago the collective grief passed from one frame to the next. This is why decided I’ll no longer entertain or hold capacity for conversations that are anchored in the mistakes of the past. It’s my perspective that the time has come for the still-embittered to by themselves learn to move on and find peace with it all. We must now look and focus forward, collectively. Forward Only.

Saw some low-IQ posting the bubblemap of $VULT. Mfer, you think this is your #memecoins, you jump in for a quick 3x or get rugged? Even saw a big account agreeing with that. Take the pie chart. Look at how tokens are distributed Look at holders. Mfer got scared when they saw large holdings of a few addresses but his brain stopped there because memecoin mentality kicked in. If your brain could just see that from 100M tokens available only 35M are on SALE. Where could you hold the : Team Tokens Investors Tokens Airdrop Tokens Wewe/IOU tokens If not in different addresses. Glad every yapper is out. Sorry to say it, yes, it was nice to see hype, but we, the real ones, knew it wasn't real.
