Baltimore Murders

@BaltimoreMurder

Hundreds murdered every year. Massive patrol shortages. Little accountability. We must not become numb to the violence. #ThisIsNotNormal #ThisIsNotOk

We must demand that our elected officials develop a concrete plan to keep illegal guns out of the hands of children. And we must not allow them to claim they care about our kids if they refuse to do so. The results of the lack of a plan are clear- death, death, and more death.

@notcapnamerica The way liberals conflate the duty and actions of individuals with the duty and action of governments disgusts me

While you were asleep, your City Council worked a shift with the women and men of DPW. Oversight means more when you join the workers on the truck. Sanitation is one of the hardest, most dangerous jobs in America. Our workers deserve a raise. We will fight to make it happen.

It's unimaginable that a child would even think of doing something like this to another human being. We've absolutely failed our kids, and it's only going to get worse.

@elonmusk The majority of votes cast in the election were for someone other than Donald Trump, and zero of them were for you. Don't act like you care about the will of the people.

@sowhat623 @Zeke_Cohen I'm not saying they should or shouldn't. I'm trying to get an idea of what would happen if this turned out exactly how city council would like it to.

@BaltimoreMurder @Zeke_Cohen Why should they? Dems mandated that Md be able to handle all electric vehicles by 2035. Why should BGE eat what’s being forced on them?

@FOXBaltimore It's hard to give Cogen the benefit of the doubt here. The problem should have been addressed after the first round of erroneous paychecks went out.

"You couldn't ask for a stronger mandate from the public" - @elonmusk Trump didn't win a majority of votes. Hell, even Hilary won a larger share of the popular vote in 2016 than Trump did in 2024.

@GovWesMoore State spending in 2016 was $41.2B. In today's dollars, that's $54.8B. You spent $67.7B last year. Why point the finger? This is a bad look, man.

Our administration did not create Maryland's budget deficit, but we will fix it. We need to make difficult cuts where necessary, rein in spending, and tighten our own belts – all while ensuring state programs are effective and sustainable.

All right #Birdland, I don't wanna get too far ahead of anything here, but ... I believe this may be the start of a new sound system Oriole Park at Camden Yards. I originally thought it was 771 testing something new, but it's definitely originating from inside the ballpark!

@Rafa_Mangual On what are you basing the assessment that this shift in votes is largely due to frustrations with crime?

@TheAdvocate410 Getting money out of politics in general should be one of our top priorities. Too bad the only people who can make that happen are only the only people with the incentive to not do that.
