these folk who say silly things like “i’m a christian and i don’t worship the same god that muslims worship” yeah. you do. jews, muslims, and christians all worship the same god of abraham. hence the label “abrahamic religions” but with all manmade gods they reflect the thoughts of the men who wrote about them so you get different flavors of the same god of abraham it’s really that simple

in my experience of the three main abrahamic religions christians are the most aggressive in trying to convert others. muslims rarely do it. i’ve never had a jewish person try and convert me.

actually that is exactly what it means. It's always, what it has meant. you don't get to rewrite our history and fundamentally change the reading of the constitution because you want your religion to govern everybody. If you want that shit, move to Iran. They govern by theocracy and their totalitarian hellscape is exactly where all societies that attempt to fuse religion and governance end up.

Read Mike Johnson’s post on separation of church and state. He’s reinterpreted it and are saying anyone who thinks there’s a wall between the govt and religion has not read their history and that a successful society must have faith and religion in govt. there’s a psyop and gaslight online already about everyone knows that the founders said god in the Declaration of Independence. Justice Alito has said for years that secular society itself is persecution of Christians. We are in dangerous times
