The "One Big Beautiful Bill" has lost its glamour in the Senate. Gone is the defunding of Planned Parenthood, because let’s be honest — a one-year pause in federal funding does not reach the threshold of federal defunding.
Under the Senate plan, taxpayers will still be forced to underwrite experimental gender transition procedures.
Privately funded education scholarships will now be entirely voluntary, so that students in failing schools in blue states will be left without help.
Many of the changes to the Senate bill are being blamed on the Senate parliamentarian, but it's clear that legislative priorities can be--and were--put through the "Byrd bath" multiple times until they pass muster.
There need to be conservative, pro-life, pro-family policy commitments to offset what was lost in the Senate. Therefore, FRC reserves the right to score against the rule when it comes to the floor.

Last year, I went for my first ultrasound of my very first pregnancy and was so excited. But I quickly found out my baby had no heartbeat and stopped growing two weeks earlier. I had no signs of a miscarriage and was told I had to force my baby out. They called it a “missed miscarriage.”
My doctor urged me to take the abortion pill (mifepristone) instead of getting a D&C to avoid creating scar tissue. She said it would just “feel like a heavy period.”
I listened to her.
When I went home, I took the medication and ended up in the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. I was screaming, I was crying, I was about to pass out, and I was heavily bleeding. I almost went to the ER. For several days after, I had intense cramping.
I felt lied to by my doctor and not prepared for what I endured.
No, the abortion pill is not “safer than Tylenol” and should not be obtained online or through the mail.

Dobbs opened the floodgates for mifepristone to become the main method of abortions. Since then, abortions increased every year and in every state that banned abortion.
And now, IVF being more accessible has put the entire pro life movement many steps back.
The only answer is to give equal rights to preborns.

@BanTracker As long as women are lied to about what their unborn baby is and what abortion is, every woman is in a sense a victim. Millions of women have had abortions not because of some rage against a baby but because they legitimately think abortion is just removing some cells.
