@kenshirotism @shadydoorags Vash let his personal feelings overwhelm him in their 1st reunion and he wants to kill his brother, which is punished by his angel arm being forcefully opened. He sticks to his ideals to try and find a way to best Knives in their final fight

@kenshirotism @shadydoorags That's just false TAL. Vash's 1st meeting with Knives in the manga he fully intends to kill him before being overwhelmed. Through Knives' testing his ideals they are strengthened and he goes into the final fight wanting to save Knives.

It made it blatantly apparent, that Vash had this "no killing policy" not because he doesn't want to become a monster and cause even more suffering or some generic shit like that, but simply because he was to cowardly to do so.
