MIBR's choice to play that ascent comp is exactly what I am talking about with teams really lacking in the team identity department / map theory department. You have amazing players and amazing coaches but at the end of the day that comp cannot accomplish control on attack at a fundamental level without major utility commitment, risk and telegraphing your every move. Choosing a comp with such a tangible downside would maybe make sense to play INTO your strengths or identity, but they chose this comp and it plays strongly against the team strengths and role comforts. Nothing against the team, coaching staff, players etc. But this is a clear example of what I talked about in my previous post.
