The last reported trailing 12 months of $AVCTQ revenue, I believe was about $17m or so.
It had a loss of about $40m.
So that means, in layman’s term, it’s like you had a $17k salary from your job but you spent $40k in the year.
That’s not a good business. It’s a poorly run business.
On top of that, associated with that $40m are expenses you have to keep paying to keep the $17m of revenue are things like salaries to people to keep things running, datacenters to run the service, fees to Oracle / Microsoft / Ribbon for components in the software that had been sold to customers, etc.).
That’s why it sold for less than 1x revenue.
If someone else valued it higher, and bid higher, they would have won the auction.
