Tennessee HC Rick Barnes revealed that he and his staff “wanted more offense” for their 2026-27 roster 🍊 “This year, we knew that we wanted more offense,” said Barnes on Rocky Top Insider’s “RTI Low Down.” “We didn’t want to really rely on two or three guys… We don’t want to coach these guys on every play - we want some guys that can go create offense.” Tennessee’s current transfer portal class of six players averaged a combined 86 points during the 2025-26 season. Barnes joined RTI’s @TheHoundBB and On3’s @Clowfb to discuss the 2026-27 roster, the transfer portal, and the scheduling for next season. Tennessee target and Wake Forest transfer wing Juke Harris averaged 21.4 points per game last season, and would mark the highest point average addition to the roster if he were to commit.
