Got 3rd place at The Pirate Chest II cEDH tournament🇵🇹 The finals ended in a draw and the winner was decided by standings %. I’m happy with my performance and the overall experience, met some amazing players and learned a lot. I hope the european cEDH scene keeps growing!

@CJSlattery @SaffronOlive Omni doesnt lose if you counter their first attempt, they will just keep looting until they find another reanimate. They also run Marang so beatdown plan is possible if you exile their omni

@SaffronOlive Is the deck really that broken? At best it wins on turn 4 and it is susceptible to a single counter spell. Hand disruption and counters both hit at it, and it’s super easy to hit post board. A tournament viable combo deck in standard is pretty cool

I'm starting to think that putting Omniscience into Foundations was a mistake. I think it's cool that the deck exists, but it shouldn't exist forever and I'm not sure how this can be avoided unless Wizards stops printing reanimation, which also seems not great.

I returned to Arena after years of inactivity and won 2 physical booster boxes in my first event, pretty cool! I think I might get addicted again to Arena limited, specially drafts lol

Just won a game with my updated Urza deck. Staxed my opponents out of the game with a single winter orb and beat them down with 3 huge constructs lol

The majority of commander players are going to react to this ban with a “oh great now I don’t have to pay for a 100+ card to compete with gary at the store”

In my postban testing, Sisay feels slower than expected without dockside and crypt. Tymna/thrasios feels better, although its probably too slow for 80 minute round tournaments

My favorite part of Magic is deckbuilding so I’m actually quite excited to brew new decks for this postban cEDH meta. New challenge: build Sisay without dockside💡
