@LeafsPapi_ The Leafs never had a playoff opponent like the Utah Mammoth. The Core 4 were paid like they got it done many times, they were paid higher than the stars from Boston, Tampa & Florida who actually did get it done, many times. Marner was the worst playoff performer of all of them.

2 things can be true at the same time: Marner is a great player and will continue putting up 80-90 pts for VGK He did absolutely fuck all for the Leafs in the playoffs when we needed him the most

@LeafsUpdates21 In 3 years or longer when Reid possibly develops into that stud number 1 defensemen our current core is gonna be old or gone. Matthews has two years left on his contract, Chase Reid isnt the player thats gonna make him sign an extension

I’d take McKenna over both but I think Reid would be more of a discussion than Stenberg. McKenna is clearly BPA so that takes out Stenberg (same position) but if you wanted to address by team need I think Reid would at least warrant a discussion.
