#OnThisDay March 4, 1941: Major Sir Frederick Banting MC RCAMC is laid to rest at Toronto’s Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Before internment, thousands came to pay their respects at the University of Toronto’s Convocation Hall where his body lay in state.
