Here’s what Trump does: 1. Creates a crisis that hurts a lot of people 2. Frames the crisis as a good thing 3. The crisis gets really bad 4. Trump then reverses his bad decision and takes credit for ending the crisis he created 5. MAGA eats it up Every. Single. Time.

To be abundantly clear: we did not change the rigorous standard for becoming a certified air traffic controller. Those claiming otherwise are mistaken or lying. We did increase funding & training, and grew the ATC workforce after years of declining numbers, including under Trump.

The president can veto or support legislation. He can make recommendations to Congress. But he doesn't have the unilateral right to change laws. Trump has very little respect for the rule of law & our Constitution. He is moving us toward authoritarianism. We must stop him.
