@StillRadNotaFad For the past 10 years we have had terrible game management… that 100% falls on the head coach…. We have been in games but never could find a way to win … Ryan Silverfield shows much better game management… big upgrade!

My thoughts on Arkansas' new HC Ryan Silverfield: Hogs are 27-87 in conference since 2012. We're the worst team in the league with the toughest schedule, and none of it is his fault. This is where we are. Coach genuinely looks excited to be here. His Memphis team gave 100% effort in a win against us. So fuck it, let's ride! WPS!

@G_Widd @JacksonCollier Dopey? If he wins games … money and support will follow… Silverfield is a better game coach/manager than we have had at Arkansas … not flashy but a very solid coach in my opinion

@BarFrogMusic @JacksonCollier It’s not about that dopey. It’s about that golesh seemed to have the support. Money would follow. If silverfield has neither, he won’t be successful no matter how good of a coach he is.

So what happens to Silverfield when he has no resources and the AD who hired him is inevitably fired for failing to make a good hire and failing to raise money and failing to garner fan support? This is a no-win situation for Silverfield.

@KevODonnellFLA This is absolutely disingenuous… the truth is more likely that he has signed a preliminarily offer sheet and waiting until after Saturday’s game to confirm… he is not staying at USF for 2.5 million a year when offered 35 million over 5 years…

I have confirmed USF head coach Alex Golesh has not agreed to take the Arkansas job. He just addressed his USF team and said he’s been approached by some schools. He will make his decision this weekend after discussing with his family.
