I have been busy with work and personal commitments, but I would like to write a short comment on the persecution that our friend and great Albertan patriot @JeffreyRWRath has been subjected to. During the Freedom Convoy, we witnessed in horror for the first time the depths of depravity of the Canadian government. After nearly 2 years of trammelling upon our rights under the guise of COVID-19, the government moved to extrajudicially freeze the bank accounts of those who exercised their democratic rights and voiced their righteous discontent with the government overreach of the day. While the government has to an extent retired its harassment of Freedom Convoy participants - with the notable exception of @LichTamara and some other patriots - it is clear that the right is far from over. The methods of government intimidation via an overtly politicized and weaponized judiciary that were pioneered during the Freedom Convoy are now being deployed against our movement for Alberta independence. We must not despair. By recklessly deploying such underhanded and dirty tactics against us, the Canadian government demonstrates their absolute fear of our movement. For them, it is existential. They have tried repeatedly to block us in court, and now are resorting to thug tactics that would make the Tony Soprano and other mafiosos proud. They have revealed that they know we are likely to win. If they didn’t know this, they wouldn’t resort to such actions to stop us. A simple vote at the polls would suffice if our movement was doomed. What they have done is acknowledge that Alberta independence is gaining more momentum day after day. But, fellow Alberta patriots, just as our movement grows more popular, we must prepare for more intense attacks on us. They will increase in frequency and severity. This is daunting, but it is a worthwhile momentary sacrifice for securing a brighter future for Alberta. Our lives are at stake in this fight, as are the lives of our children and our children’s children. We must remain strong. This is a David and Goliath story, but remember that the righteous David prevailed victoriously over the tyrant Goliath in the end, despite the odds. I'm surprised at how fast people are catching on tonight.
