With Europe facing record heatwaves, wildfires are becoming more common. @esa's Earth Explorers SMOS, @esa_earthcare, @esa_aeolus and Biomass were not particularly designed for wildfire management, but their data on soil dryness, smoke plumes and forest biomass help to improve our understanding of wildfires, showing how science missions deliver unexpected benefits. earth.esa.int/eogateway/data…

Já agora, esta manhã estive a prestar aconselhamento a um consórcio que recebeu 29 milhões de euros de financiamento, como parte de um painel independente. Também de borla. Já a malta contratada para gestão e secretariado ganham mais que eu. Mais 2-3 meses e mando tudo à merda.

Mais um dia, mais uma consultoria à pala a explicar a investigadores seniores aspectos básicos de delineamento experimental e análise estatística para os seus estudos. Depois de anos a fazerem merda. Entretanto, o meu contrato termina em 2 meses e eles têm uma posição permanente.

Cansada de fazer queixas na Uber e Bolt. Motoristas às voltas 10 minutos a ver se cancelas, ou, como dois (!) só hoje, q dizem “já cheguei” e estavam a 1 km. Não quero ter carro (nem tenho € pra isso), os transportes públicos são de rir e nas plataformas é só esquemas. Que lindo

Due to electrical issues on the ground links #VV24 launch chronology was interrupted. Checks are being conducted to confirm a new launch attempt tomorrow Sept. 4 at 10:50 pm local time in Kourou. The launcher & its passenger Sentinel-2C are in stable & safe conditions.
