It took years but I get it now. Pierre Poilievre on the advice of his ex common law wife and campaign manager Jenni Byrne, went all in on social media influencers. They didn’t care, they didn’t vet them, they just spent and networked and got them on board. It cost Pierre in the 2025 election that he had wrapped up and now he’s pot committed and can’t fold. They hurt him, they cost him votes but he can’t denounce them because it will cost him more votes. They made a gamble shortly after winning the leadership that will stick with Pierre forever and he will never be PM because of it. Everything from his support of the Convoy to eating to the apple to lying about attendance at rallies has been calculated moves that have backfired. He dropped his ex for Outhouse but you can’t unbake a cake, the damage is done and there is too much evidence to just erase the past. Pierre would have won 10 years ago before social media took off but now he never will. The dream is dead and he’s hanging onto Stornoway because that’s as close as he’ll get to being at the top. I get it now.

Exactly you need a person to pull the trigger. There are many responsible people in Canada trust me. People should have the right to make the choice to own a firearm or not. But yes….you are right ….
