He is more of a run-stuffing, edge-setting DE. I do think he has a lot of room to grow and will get better, but I’m not sure he’s ever going to be a dominant pass-rusher.” If Williams can be a guy who will be dominant against the run, average 5 sacks a season— while doing it from multiple positions, that’s what the 49ers were basically looking for when they drafted him last year
