@Luke49ers6 It's simply illogical. You can't tax them on it because the gain is unrealized but you can borrow against the value of your shares? The loan IS the gain! Then when the borrower dies those assets are granted a step-up in basis and the capital gains are wiped out.

Kyle Shanahan is the most overrated coach in the NFL and it's not close. He can't think outside of his box. He's lucky he has Brock purdy who can play outside of the little box Kyle puts him in. 49ers would be so mid without Brock's playmaking ability. When is the last time Kyle out-schemed a good dc he was going against? All of his tricks are old and figured out and he doesn't learn from his mistakes. Ben Johnson is so much better than Kyle as a play caller. Watch the tape.

@Luke49ers6 The reason they don't have salary is because they know that'll get taxed, so they transfer that value to "unrealized gains" to avoid paying their fair share.
Funny, though, those gains aren't unrealized when they apply for massive loans. It's called, "Buy, Borrow, Die."

Why is taxable income for social security capped at $184,500? Jeff Bezos made $8 million AN HOUR in 2024, yet he only pays SS tax on less than 200 grand?! WTF
