@Richard_Kadrey I just happened to stumble upon your Sandman Slim books this last month and I have fallen into a binge. I knew I was in good hands when you started acknowledgments with Tom Waits and Controlled Bleeding. Thank you for the great works. In the middle of Kill the Dead now.

I had three well-reviewed books out in 2023, but (probably) only one in 2024. Still, I'll be working a lot and hope to have more short stuff out during the year. It's strange to have published a lot and still not be sure of your place in the book world, but there it is.

Yeah, ok, i picked up the yellow one as my local store didn't have Overkill's album. Went CD as I can't justify a vinyl price for an album that has such a mixed review on release. Has anyone got a standout track on this Metallica release?
