🚨🎖️| OPINION: I see a lot of hypocrisy concerning Marcus Rashford at FC Barcelona and it’s very depressing from most United fans, both small and big accounts.
Marcus was a player who was struggling at Manchester United comes to FC Barcelona, improves, starts delivering numbers, and suddenly his parent club wants him back in their plans.
After winning his first trophy with Barcelona, the narrative shifts even though United themselves aren’t exactly dominating domestically.
It started when Michael Carrick spoke about wanting Marcus Rashford back. It’s a typical business move: a player no one was rushing to sign begins performing, and attention quickly follows.
Barcelona have also played their part they’ve maximized his form, boosted his profile, and benefited from it. Now it’s a matter of how things unfold: if he maintains momentum and both clubs reach an agreement, he stays relevant; if not, his form and value could drop again.
That’s how a good businessman does his business, FC Barcelona have learnt their lessons from past mistakes buying mid players for ridiculous prices under previous management, same mistake can’t happen again, it’s not that deep.
