It wasn't an embargo though. The US just went together with allied nations that were being invaded by the Japanese allies, Germany and Italy. And they chose to stop trading oil with the nation that was invading and massacring the Chinese people. If someone in a friendgroup raped a girl, so his friends cut him off, would that guy be allowed to break into their homes?

It's a twitter poll. If we can agree the politcal opinion polls are unreliable, then what makes you think 50 000 people voting on a platform that has discussed this thing for many days now, is a good representation for if this actually happened? If peoples' actual life were in danger, and you have no way of knowing what people were even leaning to beforehand, then i think you'd see at minimum 1/4 of those in the polls, voting red instead of blue. Be realistic

I mean at this point in time it's not 100% confirmed his reasons for choosing suicide, but he still did it. And even if he may have been connected to Epstein, it seems to have been through his father and not directly himself. In Norway this whole thing has been been a big case, with the knowledge that Mona Juul, and Terje Rød Larsen were involved in diplomacy and the Oslo accords being discussed alot. I guess in the US and other places it's not as widely reported on. But at this time the suicide is more of a tragedy, than a distraction from the case.
