I’m pretty surprised by some of the reactions I’ve had for streaming ARC 5 days in a row I’ve been a full time DayZ streamer for 6 years and an avid fan long before Im not taking it personally but it’s surprising to hear people say they are unfollowing because I’m enjoying a different game More than that I’m grateful to those who have stuck around and enjoyed the new game with me, thank you guys and gals 💜

So, 2024 has been one hell of a ride folks. Dizzying highs like #DayZUnite , lows like losing our dog Squirrel and my mother on the 23rd and 24th December respectively (wasnt close to my mother so dont worry, its complicated my feelings about her) but prior to all of this, I had been pondering the future of @thedayzpodcast . I only started doing this show as I loved the previous 2, the OG @BarelyInfected @superftlol one, and then the short lived but also great @ItsCueps Compass Podcast. They aren’t easy folks, it takes a lot of organising and planning and motivation to keep going each week. Organising guests and co-hosts each week is difficult, they all have a lot of more important things to be doing than chatting to this old boomer. The Xmas giveaway show was cancelled as I was just not feeling it. It’s our penultimate show, and meant to be a happy and fun occasion, but leading up to it, my heart wasn’t there. This surprised me, as at times this year, i have felt that the show was in one of its best places ever. But I think it’s time to call it quits. For ever? Most likely but i wont close the door on it, maybe we do an odd episode here and there, but I doubt it. My focus will now be on me, family and my Spotlight interviews. The one with @PribylThales really excited me, it’s been a while sine I devoted time and energy into what I first started doing all those years back. I also want to start interviewing veterans and first responders who game, to talk about how gaming helps them. I cannot thank you all enough for your support (some of you, lol) over these years the highs, the lows, and everything in between. But i feel that with the @Friendly_dayz lads doing such a high quality production, there is no need for me anymore. I urge you all to go over and sub to them on YouTube as they are doing everything i dreamed of doing, only better and more reliably. To @bohemiainteract and the @DayZ team. Thank you for your support of me and the team over the years. It cant have been easy doing this, I’m controversial and many hate me with a passion. Thank you for everything. It’s been awesome seeing so many of my co-hosts and podcast team members go on to become employees with DayZ, @That___Lad @Marks_1616 @DanceOfJesus @Jacob_MangoR and guests I have spoken to as well, @Arkensor @MarioE32389431 . Yeah, for a little show and community, we have definitely punched above our weight regularly. To all the rest of my team over the years, thank you all for standing by me. It hasn’t been easy, I know. But I thank you regardless. Loyalty means everything to me. Since my mini-stroke a few years back, I haven’t been the same, so yeah, time to start looking after me and my family more. @2dogsgaming If I read correctly multiplayer will come. I don't know about co-op, don't think the game is written for that. But we'll see. Would be fun though.

While the game is fun in the beginning and has a lot of potential I am dealing with game/experience breaking stuff moving towards the end of the game. I really can't recommend the game right now. I recommend waiting until it's in a better place. #Stalker2HeartOfChornobyl

@JaX_Stutz Harsh, but that's also because of the behavior of other survivors. I like the challenge. It feels very different from Chernarus. I like that a lot of people make fires. It brings people together, in good and bad ways. :)

Last year I played the stalker games. I wanted to understand the people that came to #DayZ from that game, with the bloodsuckers and all. I loved it! In a few days, #Stalker2 will drop. I can't wait to dive into that game and be immersed again in that world.

@GallopingGepard @DayZ Sorry for the late response, I don't twitter a lot anymore. It feels very much the same for me. But I need to play more to find out de dynamics and how the general player acts in an interaction. So far so good. :)

@BarelyInfected @DayZ I miss The Village. It was a great server. I really enjoyed my time there and it was a real loss when it closed. Funny timing as I have also just come back to DayZ after 4 years to see what's new! How do you find the game nowadays?

Revisiting Chernarus feels like home. Roaming around contemplating life and my past time in @DayZ #DayZ
