I have walked this path long enough to know that appointments do not make men, character does. But I will not pretend that this moment does not mean everything to me, because it does.
To the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM sir, you have placed something sacred in my hands, and I receive it with both. I do not take lightly what you have done. You reached into the ranks of this great Force and said “him”. I will spend every day of this appointment proving that you were right. Not for validation. But because Nigeria deserves nothing less than my absolute best, and I intend to deliver exactly that.
I have been prepared for this? Well, every posting, every challenge, every season that tested my resolve was sharpening me for such a time as this. I stand here today not in arrogance, but in the quiet, unshakeable confidence of a man who knows where he has come from and is clear about where he is going.
To my family, my colleagues, and every single person who has prayed for me, celebrated me, and sent words of encouragement, I see you . I am grateful for you. Your belief in me is a fuel I do not take for granted.
The work ahead is serious. The responsibility is immense. And I am ready.
Watch this space.

Federer means tournament directors have standardized ball & court speeds across events (no matter the surface—clay, grass, or hard).
This lets players like Sinner & Alcaraz hammer away with the same powerful baseline game everywhere, winning French Open, Wimbledon & US Open without adapting styles the way past eras required.
Uniform conditions = less variety, easier dominance.

COP28 wahala signing of MOU between @therealanif_ and @NASENIHQ in Dubai.
2: why wasting public funds when you can sign the agreement in Abuja?
What is the issue?
3: negotiations started from Nigeria and concluded in Dubai at the highest level with SHENZHEN LEMI TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LIMITED.
So what did they achieve?
4: $150m Lithium- ion battery manufacturing and processing factory in Nigeria was achieved.
5: The Chinese firm signed off during COP28 and demanded that the two Nigerian agencies must sign that MOU immediately.
6: The President gave them go ahead to sign as a pre - requisite condition for the factory to be established.
7: So it is a win win for Nigeria.
8: Don’t forget that REA is to facilitate access to electricity and promote clean renewable energy. Then, NASENI on the other hand is tasked with the development of science and engineering innovation through strategic investments.
9: For Solid Minerals Ministry, they will quickly issue a license for them to establish the factory.
10: Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment is backing this project.
11: The so called negative comments from the 9th House of Rep forced China not to release money for PH - Maiduguri, Lagos- Calabar, Abuja - Lokoja railway projects.
12: Let us allow govt officials to work and secure investments for us.
13: it is my hope that @abati1990 will read. This information will help him to understand why the two agencies ( REA & NASENI) signed the MOU in Dubai.
