@a_thomas1958 It’s all madness. I thought the playoffs started in the previous August. It’s got a strange name called a league and whoever gets most points gets promoted.

Just leave it as it is, one day you'll get a team 30pts behind that has a lucky day at Wembley or a terrible refereeing decision to get promoted. Really in tier it's too important for playoffs with the money etc and only the top 3 ought to be promoted not expand the chance.

@lufcstats Remarkably our first game of the season will be 66 years to the day since we also had our first game after promotion to the top league. Not only that it was also against Everton and we won 5-1. Here’s hoping!
