The regime in Iran has a major problem: it mined its own water way and is now unable to undo it. The IRGC put multiple naval mines in the sea with no logs or plans for recovery. The explosive devices placed in water to destroy ships or submarines, have now drifted.
With the peace plan revolving around the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz, there is no way that can happen within the 14 day time frame. This is more than a complicating factor.
The “negotiations” in Pakistan can only be seen as, at best, an elaborate puppet show. At worst, a total farce.
