Why is it bad when President Trump does it? Do the Democrats, the UN and NATO allies hate President Trump or the Iranians, or both? In 2011, Obama launched a 7 month airstrike in Libya without congressional authorization, stating it was a limited humanitarian operation, not a war. He bypassed Congress entirely, claiming UN and NATO approval was enough. The conflict ended with Gaddafi’s death. He called 2000 deaths a massacre. But when Iranians are screaming through an Internet blackout after the regime slaughtered 45 thousand people in just a few days, with 1000s of videos to prove it, and when they execute protesters indiscriminately on a daily basis, the Democrats, the UN and NATO countries all side with the barbaric regime. And Iranians are even pro America and pro western values. So Why don’t Iranian lives matter to them? Why does President Trump have to go through so many hoops when the Islamic regime is also a threat to the U.S. and the world? @POTUS @marcorubio

Speaking an Iranian still inside Iran, writing this through Starlink while my hands are literally shaking with rage and grief. Sometimes, I can’t hold back the tears anymore. Look at this poster they’ve plastered on every street corner [first image]. The Islamic Republic’s latest public death threat: Starlink, satellite dishes, VPNs — all illegal. Use them and you will be punished to the maximum. Phones crossed out. Dishes crossed out. Even the word “Starlink” in blood-red letters. They are openly hunting us for daring to seek truth. And they just proved they mean it. This innocent Iranian father [second image] was using Starlink — just like me — to get real news for his family in the middle of the blackout and get the censored information out to the world. They arrested him. They tortured him. They beat him to death. A father. A husband. A man who only wanted to protect his children from the regime’s lies. I am using Starlink right now to write these words to you. Every single day the regime’s agents threaten me. Every single day I know I could be next. My heart is shattered. My soul is on fire. The fear is real and it never leaves. But I will not stop. My country is on the line. My people are on the line. 90 million Iranians are suffocating in this 47-year nightmare. We are living in hell — neither war nor peace, economic pressure crushing every family, their new Chinese-style tiered internet and “White Simcard” loyalty system deciding who is even allowed to see the outside world. And now they are literally killing people for trying to connect. We have endured massacres, rapes, executions, and grief for 47 years. We have buried our sons and daughters in the streets. We danced and cried with pure joy when you removed Khamenei because we finally saw hope. This father’s blood will not be in vain. We are willing to endure everything — the blackouts, the arrests, the torture, the economic pressure— if it means the Islamic Republic finally falls. Anything to be free. Anything to end this evil. President Trump, the free world — see what they are doing to us? Keep the pressure. Do not look away. The Iranian people are watching, bleeding, and still standing. The Lion and Sun will rise again. For this father. For every father. For every son and daughter who still dreams of freedom. We will never forget. And we will never forgive those who helped the butchers. #IranMassacre #IranWar #KingRezaPahlaviForIran

«امید حقجو»، مددکار اجتماعی افغانستان که خود با معلولیت پا زندگی میکند، با ساخت یک چرخ برای سگی که هر دو پایش را از دست داده، توجه گسترده کاربران شبکههای اجتماعی را جلب کرده است. این اقدام که از درک «درد مشترک» سرچشمه میگیرد، به نمادی از همدلی و امید در فضای مجازی تبدیل شده است. #Asif_Akbari

10 Years Ago Today: Louis van Gaal gave the best post-match interview of all time. 𝗦𝗲𝘅 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗺 🤣🤣🤣

:@krishgm you're right, it's hard to find accurate data when men with guns and ropes murder anybody reporting the truth. Nevertheless, sources exist. Here are two significant ones. 1. GAMAAN recorded 80%+ opposition in 2024 gamaan.org/wp-content/upl… 2. Leaked government polling showed 92% dissatisfaction in late 2025 iranwire.com/en/news/146306… Critically, both of these polls were conducted before the government slaughtered 40,000+ in January. While the west barely seemed to notice, the bloodshed was an epochal event for Iranians. The already tenuous social contract was fundamentally and irreparably broken. The pro-regime rallies we see so widely shared across feckless western news sources are a sham. No doubt with 5-10% of 92m people, the government is able to generate some genuine organic displays, but they still need to coerce attendees with food, cash, and legal leverage. iranintl.com/en/202602090129 Our families in Iran report the same thing. Obviously this is anecdotal and potentially biased, but everyone we speak to believes the government has less than 10% support. You can argue a percent here or there, but the fact is this is an overwhelming supermajority. This is not 52:48. Of course the Islamic Republic itself indirectly confirms this. The internet remains blocked to everyone except approved propaganda voices, and they don't even trust their own footsoldiers any more, importing Hashd al Shaabi & Fatimayoon fighters en masse from Iraq & Afghanistan. If they had the support they claim, the internet would be open and Iranians would be manning the checkpoints. In fact there wouldn't be checkpoints at all. So, it's fine to question. Omid answered you well. But the debate you present bears no relation to reality on the ground. To give you the benefit of the doubt, well-meaning journalists such as yourself are responsible for creating an image of Iranian society in the west that is miles from the truth. Stop normalising this regime. It is a hostile occupying force holding hostage 85m+ lives for the sake of a dying depraved ideology. Use your platform to tell this truth, show the west what is going on. Talk about the executions happening every day. Talk about the celebrations when Khamenei was killed. Talk about the Iranian voices begging for the ceasefire to end, as nothing is more terrifying than being left alone with these barbarians. I can help you do a journalism. DM me I'll show you sources, I'll put you in touch with Iranians who can attest to all of this. Omid is great, there are millions more.

Discussing Iran with Krishnan Guru-Murthy @krishgm - British journalist and lead presenter on @Channel4News - he states that some inside Iran say those who are upset with the regime are “a tiny minority” and genuinely asks “how do you know your side is in the majority?” Fact: the regime lies to the point of pathological habit and is currently flooding the airwaves and internet with what you could call ‘industrial strength propaganda’ designed directly and specifically to influence western public opinion. But the answer has always been very clear: in January a recorded 14 million protestors took to the streets, 40,000+ of them murdered by the IRGC and regime backed militias brought in from Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s how we know. The regime - and anyone with a pulse - knows the overwhelming majority wants them gone and there’s no coming back from these heinous crimes against humanity. Not forgetting the protests around the world on Feb 14 including 250,000 in Munich and 500,000 in Toronto alone. Anyone parroting the very concept that support for the regime is the majority in Iran - especially during a 62 day enforced internet blackout - is either a regime supporter, paid by the regime, or simply out of their minds.
