In Britain the police investigate the women who called the migrant that assaulted her "filthy" longer than they investigate the migrant for assault

Well.. I WON! (again 🤭) Celine-2 eSafety Commissioner-0 This whole ordeal started a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant, so it's quite poetic that it's all been wrapped up on my baby girls first birthday. Special thankyou to @carolinemarcus for coming all the way out to my Mum's apartment to interview me HAHAH it was a day that none of us will forget. Thankyou to everyone who's supported me with this case. It hasn't always been easy for me to deal with but free speech and parental rights are always something I will fight for! I will post a full video about everything soon. 🇦🇺♥️

@ClareONeilMP This law should be about as effective as your housing policy.

Last night, Parliament acted. Stronger gun laws. Stronger hate speech laws. Real action after the horrific Bondi Beach terror attack. These laws passed after tough debate, late nights and serious work across the Parliament. Because when violence and extremism threaten our community, the response has to be serious too. The reforms tighten gun ownership rules, establish a national buyback framework, and strengthen our ability to shut down organisations that promote hatred and violence. As the Prime Minister said, these are the strongest hate speech laws Australia has ever had. They’re about protecting people, defending social cohesion, and refusing to let fear or hate to define our country. While Labor focused on keeping Australians safe, the Coalition frontbench was completely all over the shop. The Liberals backed the hate speech laws. The Nationals refused. And multiple senior Nationals frontbenchers voted against hate speech reforms - breaking their own shadow cabinet rules in the process. Earlier in the day, the Nationals abstained in the House. Later that night, they voted against the bill in the Senate when their amendments didn’t get up. No principle. No spine. Just politics. On one of the most serious issues facing the country - hate-fuelled violence - the Opposition couldn’t even agree with itself, let alone offer a credible alternative.

@Katherine_deves The majority of immigrants come to Australia for its freedom as it is a western country Taking away these rights is absurd This is the punch in the guts to all Australians and all good law, abiding immigrants The government is completely out of touch of reality
