@standrewsmajor Hi.. actually there are two war graves in St Andrews Major Cemetery. The other is Wren MARY COOKE (45150) of the WRNS age 23 who died 16/07/45 and is buried in grave 110 of sec Y.A. The daughter of Lionel John R & Winifred Mary Cooke (nee Pritchard) she was native of Penarth

@standrewsmajor Loss: He died in the Royal Hamadryad Hospital in Cardiff, but the cause of death is not stated on the record.
Grave: Sec. Y.A. Grave 92.
Son of Robert and Jane Ann Clark; husband of Margaret Clark, of Dinas Powys.

It was a privilege to attend the 80th Anniversary of D-Day service today. We have learned about WWII and we know what that generation gave up for us. The children were very respectful and our school councillors laid a wreath from the children of St Andrews #SAMsY6 @StPetersDinas

We loved our trip to @BarryWarMuseum and we had a lovely send off. The volunteers were fantastic and we will definitely be back again 🇬🇧 highly recommended for anyone doing a WWII topic or those who love wartime and local history #SAMsY6 #SAMsHumanities

Private Charles Norton Breckenridge of the Welsh Regiment.
He lived with his wife, Florence in Pyke Street, #Barry.
He lost his life aged 35 on 7th July 1916 and is buried in Thiepval, France.
