The Youth Employment 2024 Outlook report reveals that 1 in 8 young people across the UK are not in education, employment or training (‘NEET’), with poor mental health having the biggest impact on employment prospects. The data for young people is really worrying. This is number not in full-time education or employment: blue 'economic inactivity' and yellow unemployment. The blue is basically highest it has ever been. Yes, ever. 3/4 million young people outside labour force and education.
