Some weeks you just have to wait for your experiments to develop. My #flume week has been all about #vegetation growth. #flumefriday

A large number of windows are normally nice in UK summer, now it just emphasise the last two weeks of dark grey and wet skies we had @GeographyHull in June. Guess a lab without windows (@TotEnvSimulator ) is not so bad now.

#sediment transport in a small #experiment feels similar to a PhD, like words and thoughts being streamlined in ideas, and in the end there comes the bigger picture; #morphology and #thesis #phdlife

@imeander_ @bedform Have an upstream and downstream barrier and do not overfeed the system with sediment.

@FloodSkinner Easy answer, yes, the primary required resource is time (both ⏲️and manpower) and sand (if you do not want to reuse sand)
