Yeah that's what im saying, movies that are woke have more reason to believe they will fail than reasons to believe it will succeed if they don't leech off of a well established brand which is why star wars did well with it's modern trilogy and after that, it was all downhill from there(except for Rogue One where they actually focused on telling a compelling story) after people knew that Star Wars was going woke, all other shows proceeded to flop whereas before, Star Wars couldn't be touched because of how great it was You saw this with Acolyte, Ahsoka, Boba Fett, Obi Wan Marvel also had the same thing happen, look at Ironheart, Captain America Brave New World, Eternals, the final Ant Man, Madame Webb and how could I almost forget...She Hulk

Hogwarts Legacy sold a lot because it's also one of the biggest names out there, do you think having a name as big as that has nothing to do with sales? Also seeing a trans character in a side quest isn't exactly "woke", my favorite video game character is Ellie and she's gay, it's not the whole point of her personality though

Barbie was a kids movie so of course it's gonna do well regardless if they're not super obvious with their messaging upfront(that way parents can buy tickets and find out afterwards that it's slop), you saw this happen with snow white when they told the viewers it wasn't gonna be a traditional love story like the old movie. Haven't seen OBAA so I can't really give any opinions on it. Get Out was amazing and I don't see why you think it was woke(maybe you could expand on that).

It definetely isn't, snow white went woke and it flopped, Star Wars went woke and flopped, Acolyte, Ironheart, Captain America with Falcon in it. You see this happen with games too, look at Concord, Dragon Age(I think thats what it's called anyways) Assasins Creed, Captain Marvel was woke slop but did well cause it coasted off of Avengers hype and then they came out with The Marvels(you and I both know how that went) The Eternals and I could keep going.
