Stardew Valley turns 10 today. It’s wild how a “small” game can end up shaping how you build anything. You see it everywhere in Stardew: fixing the Community Center instead of chasing shortcuts, the quiet joy of a Junimo popping out, the “one more day” trap that turns into a whole season, the mines run that starts as “just copper” and ends with you sweating over Skull Cavern, hoping for a staircase, a lucky drop, anything. Even the tiny rituals matter, the calendar, the festivals, the friendships, the stardrops, the little moments that make the big system feel personal.
