@LakeShowYo Are teams just straight up teaching players how to bait fouls? Any contact and it's the exact same exaggerated body language. The sport is turning into soccer with the amount of theatrics and it's becoming just as unwatchable.

@LakeShowYo If only those in the lower sections and court side would actually be Lakers fans instead of a bunch of influencers and mercenary Hollywood actors and producers then we could too. Insane prices and gatekeeping of these tickets will only continue what we have though.

@JohnCornyn All you had to do was pass the SAVE act and you'd be endorsed by the president. When will you rinos learn? Thune and the rest of his tune have failed miserably.

I have worked closely with President Trump through both of his Presidential terms and voted with him more than 99% of the time. He has consistently called me a friend in this race. It is now time for Texas Republican voters to decide if they want a strong nominee to help our GOP candidates down ballot and defeat Talarico in November, or a weak nominee who jeopardizes everything we care about. I trust the Republican voters of Texas.

@hughhewitt @EllisItems It's a big problem in education already. Students are getting fatigued and discouraged with life itself when they're told anything they study is going to be replaced by AI in the next 5 years. Big tech paints a great picture for themselves but has forgotten everyone else.

Also from “News Items” from @EllisItems (substack.news-items.com):
“14. The only thing growing faster than the artificial-intelligence industry may be Americans’ negative feelings about it—as former Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt saw on Friday. Delivering a commencement address at the University of Arizona, Schmidt told students the “technological transformation” wrought by artificial intelligence will be ‘larger, faster and more consequential than what came before.’ Like some other graduation speakers mentioning AI, Schmidt was met with a chorus of boos. nIn one poll after another in recent weeks, respondents have overwhelmingly voiced concerns about AI, a challenge to claims by industry executives that their technology would gain popularity by improving people’s lives. Consumers resent energy-price jumps exacerbated by the spread of data centers. Workers fear widespread job losses. Parents worry about AI undermining education and harming children’s mental health. In recent months, the wave of anger has brought protests, swayed election results and spurred isolated acts of violence. (Source: wsj.com. I wrote a column about this very subject last week.)”

@FTFonFS1 @getnickwright Been waiting for someone to call this spin about a comeback game for what it is: glazing. So sick of the media leaping onto wemby as if he can do no wrong.

@ChrisVanHollen The entire reason for you being there was for a photo op and you failed to stop the servers from bringing margaritas to the photo op??? Like at least move them out the way immediately. Tell them you didn't order. We had to pay for that.

Glasses were placed in front of us but we did not drink them. I know that may be a confusing concept for Director Patel.

@RamboVanHalen How is he getting home owners insurance with all that? It's hard enough for us to get any policy and we don't have brush.

LA is not ready for the next wildfire. I hope Magic Johnson has good insurance...

NotKennyRogers@NotKennyRogers
Magic Johnson has endorsed Karen Bass for mayor of Los Angeles. Magic Johnson also lives in a $12.5 million mansion in a gated community in Beverly Hills that is popular with celebrities, tucked into a canyon, and guarded by a 24/7 armed security detail.
