Today is the 30th anniversary of the fall of Vukovar - the biggest tragedy in recent Croatian history. 🇭🇷 The Croatian defenders resisted the aggressor for three months despite being surrounded and outnumbered, but Vukovar was captured on the 18th of November, 1991.

While other nations addressed political issues, @tpacak and Iva Olivari put the teams’ messaging around #family & faith. You could see how well it resonated with the team. In a world where we hear and see nonsense 24/7, it was something that made me even more proud to be 🇭🇷
