So…. I’m at 8 slow controlled pull ups now even though my weight has increased by 2 kgs. I can feel getting stronger in this movement. Hopefully, can get to 12 or 15 by the end of this year.

If I were to be a teacher especially upto the middle school level - I would flip the script. Instead of the teacher always asking questions. I would ask each student to bring a question on any topic, any subject on regular basis. Things that always irked their little minds.

The Longte/Lungtv festival, celebrated by the Nyishi community, should not be confined to the Nyishi alone. In fact, it has always been an intrinsic part of the Tanyi/Tani ethnic group since ancient times. This season has always traditionally been devoted to fencing village surroundings to keep domestic animals especially mithun within the designated area for not letting it roam outside the juruisdiction and to keep it protrcted from the evil spirits. Some Tani groups who migrated downward may have forgotten or lost this essence, while those in the upper belt preserved it but did not celebrate it as a formal festival until 1975 in Lower Subansiri, and later in 2011 in Nirjuli. This bloodless festival marks the arrival of spring and the beginning of the agricultural cycle. I strongly believe that if the Tani community of Arunachal is to be united, it should begin with this shared tradition. The term “Lungte/Longte” is derived from “Solung” or “Sulong,” meaning “fence” or “fencing.” It is a collective community activity carried out by villagers in unison. From “Solung/Sulong” come terms like “Lura” or “Lungra,” and “Lungtv/Longte.” The letter “ng” is actually pronounced as “ɲ,” reflecting a distinct ethnic nasal intonation.
