The White House this month released its 2026 counterterrorism strategy, describing the Muslim Brotherhood as “the root of all modern Islamist terrorism” and pledging to “crush the organization everywhere it operates.” The strategy expands on earlier U.S. designations targeting Brotherhood-linked groups in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Sudan, and signals that additional branches could soon be designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations. Egypt welcomed those moves. Cairo has outlawed the Brotherhood since 2013. At the same time, reporting by The New York Times indicates Egypt has supplied the Sudanese Armed Forces, whose ranks include Brotherhood-linked elements, with weapons, aircraft, and embedded military officers.

My grandma's in the ER (possibly pneumonia) and likely to be admitted overnight for observation, requesting prayers for her, was with her earlier and will probably take over from my mom in a few hours. And also requesting help with funds, there's a ton of pressure from many families and I can't do multiple things at once. Every time over the last 2+ years that a family member has been hospitalized (including my grandma 3 times), I've still been fundraising and sending funds and making campaign tweets because of how important this work is. Pls help if you can. With funds in general and/or individual campaigns that I've posted in the thread that's quoted. (Also RTing some of the most urgent cases)
